Fitness for you body and soul, while dancing to beats has ultimately been a good night out ever since TUFF CLUB first launched with an energy driven music programming. This time the awesome venue teams up with Darker Than Wax to present Demuja, a producer from Salzburg, Austria who has been turning heads & torsos with his range of four-to-the-floor beats.
Influenced by the timeless and groovy essence of soulful Chicago House & classic Disco, he has made moves in producing tracks for the dance since 2009, culminating with him launching his own label MUJA in 2016. In that same year he joined other skilled and experienced producers such as DJ Zinc & Shed, as part of Red Bull Music Academy’s Bass Camp in Vienna. This shows his range in influences from everything that is high quality in electronic dance music. Darker Than Wax DJs Funk Bast*rd & William J on support.
Cover charge to TUFF CLUB is $25 all night and there will be no entry to the venue after 2.30AM without a valid entry stamp.
Saturday 25TH August 10PM Til 3AM – Sub City: VORTEX, KIAT, SENJA, OMJ & KANE MC
Get ready to rinse out to some sub frequencies at the only Jungle-Drum & Bass party in town.
This month’s edition sees the return of VORTEX, one of Singapore’s most revered D&B DJs who pioneered a Junglistic community in the 2000s with the regional forum Exitmusik. As a DJ, his rolling sound has seen him share DJ booths with luminaries like Goldie, Pendulum, LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity & DJ Marky from London & Amsterdam to Osaka & Hong Kong. Currently based in London, he is a resident at the famed THEM parties at the Rhythm Factory, delving into Dubstep & Grime on the regular. D&B wise he has also featured on D&B Arena’s inconic D&BTV Live, live and direct from the UK.
VORTEX will be joined by Qilin Music partner KIAT, who is just as an equally experienced Junglist who has had music signed to Metalheadz with the track ‘Feeder’ [ Listen: http://bit.ly/2OFW1qj ] and Hospital Records with ‘Black Diamonds’ [ Listen: http://bit.ly/2PbiRaj ].
Get in early on the 25TH of August to catch #subcitysg residents Senja & OMJ go back-2-back in a massive 3 Hour set to set the tone and warm up the subs, alongside the one and only Kane MC on the M-I-C.

Sunday 26TH August 8.30PM to 11.30PM – The Blue Monks Jam at Blu Jaz Cafe
The Blue Monks is led by Corey Manders and Bani Rahman and is all kinds of blue goodness when it comes to classic straight ahead Jazz. Blu Jaz Café has been known for their Blues & Jazz music programming throughout the weekend and the smooth sounds of the Monks will be a great way to cap off your weekend and recharge your musical soul before another week in the office.
