Ever since discovering Coco Peru, my co-existence with YouTube has made much more sense than I knew it could.
“Oh my god, chocolate wine – have you ever seen something so disgusting?”
“I’m just gonna shove them back there so no one sees. It offends me.”
Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer Tea is a real thing, and Coco probably never found it again after making it famous three years ago.

Couldn’t help but laugh at this part of La La Land. Half expected @themisscocoperu to smack the shit out of them for not enjoying the view. pic.twitter.com/z02yl4RC9N

Fun (and sobering) fact though, Coco the activist-entertainer wrote his first drag show Miss Coco Peru in My Goddamn Cabaret in 1992, to help people begin to understand gays (openly gay theatre was rare then) and his friends who were dying of HIV/AIDS. Miss Coco Peru has since appeared on Wisecrack and Dragtastic, How I Met Your Mother, Arrested Development, Twins, Will and Grace, New York Undercover and more.
