If you’re a cultural thrill-seeker who says “I really should read more”, here’s a grrreat start.

The 4th Singapore Art Book Fair (SABF) will present you with good company, specializing in contemporary art books and zines from within and all around Singapore. In three short days, SABF by BooksActually is proud to present over 36 local and international exhibitors, ranging from art collectives and design studios to book publishers from Korea, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and the UK.

002It would also present the best opportunity to dip your toe into the ever-stirring waters of arts publishing, local and abroad. Think art books, magazines, zines and first dibs on these new publications making their debut at Gillman Barracks next weekend!

The opening night of SABF 2017 will take place on Thursday, April 27th at 7pm with a music performance by local musician Kelly Raphaelle.15676485_1321503974548407_3158752440339772551_o12813962_10154153405276019_813724403078905965_nProletariat Poetry Factory will also be providing customizable typewritten poetry.

This is also the first year featuring a Wall of Women, where SABF dedicates an entire wall to zines by women from all around the globe.006The last book fair was held at the ArtScience Museum and saw over 8,000 visitors. This time, SABF welcomes returning vendors HOKO design studio, local renown photographer Robert Zhao Renhui, and family art collective Holycrap.sg.
