Friday 14TH September 10PM Til 3AM – Bass Supply ft Budball (Ecstatic Bass Macau, HK)
Bass Supply by the Baow Baow collective returns this weekend with a special guest DJ, Budball from Hongkong. A co-founder of Ecstatic Bass Macau, Budball has provided support for Mala, Joe Nice, Loefah, Swindle, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Madam X, Flava D and Bok Bok.
As a promoter Budball has booked, schemed and kicked off tours in the region of South China for Goth-Trad and Madam X. Dubstep being his main genre as a DJ, he delves into other genres associated with UK soundsystem culture such as Reggae, Dub, UK Bass, Grime, Garage, Juke, Footwork and Jungle.
Bass Supply will be supported by the Baow Baow team of AKA Sounds, Durio, Eden, MC ZLoco. Entry is Pay-As-You-Wish in cash and expect a mix of UK Garage, Dubstep, Jungle, Footwork, Grime, Dub & Dancehall.
Saturday 15TH September 11.30PM Til 4AM – Tuff Times: Senja, RAH, Dubwise, Kiat & MC Kane
Back off the success of Good Times party featuring Lefto at Tuff Club in June, the all-genre loving and bending crew of Good Times is back with a solid Singaporean lineup. With representatives from Syndicate, Darker Than Wax & Revision Music, this is bound to be a family yet all-inclusive affair, which the famed Good Times party is always known for. Switching up the sound of Tuff Club this Saturday, expect a variety of styles to go along with the House & Techno sound that the 19TH floor dance club on Robinson Road is known for.
With Dubwise providing his usual stepping, dubbed out flavours to the mix, expect veteran Kiat and his long-time MC sidekick, Kane to go all across the board of electronic dance music. Also a special back-to-back set by Revision co-founders RAH & Senja will close out the night and take your dancing feet home with alternative 4×4 styles of a very deep variety.
Cover charge for Tuff Club is $20 and there will be no entry to TUFF CLUB after 02.30H without a valid entry stamp.
Sunday 16TH September 2PM Til 10PM – Ice Cream Sundays: 2 Year Anniversary
The Ice Cream Sundays gang celebrate 2 years of throwing day-to-night time events with an awesome new venue, that will showcase a popup bar along with food vendors to sustain your body to dancing to infectious House, Disco, Soul & Funk.
Located at the area around the Musuem of Contemporary Art at Dempsey, also expect all-natural food by Sidecar Sausages and cool down with gelato popsicles by Popbar SG. Official ICS merchandise by the collective will also be on sale and pre-orders will be taken for their limited edition anniversary T-shirts.
Darker Than Wax chief DJ, Funk Bstrd and residents Toppings & Bongomann are on the music program to ensure an uplifting dancing session on a Sunday. Happy Birthday Ice Creamers!
