Friday 12TH October 10PM Til 3AM – Bass Supply Ft b10n & Chesta (UKG/Dubstep/Jungle/Footwork/DNB)

Your monthly bass supply by the mighty Baow Baow gang is back with some new faces to Singapore’s underground Bass music scene with Chesta & b10n. B10n (IND) is an electronic music producer heavily inspired by everything from Dub Step to Footwork, and will be signaling his first remix project on Mas1a’s Time Wastin single, after graduating out of CEE’s music production class in the Malayan jungle. He will be joined by Chesta (US), a producer-DJ with a solid Dub Step album under his belt.

MAS1A will also be dropping her single the same day as the digital release at this event alongside Bass Supply residents AKA Sounds, Eden & Durio.

Saturday 13TH October 3PM Til 12MN Jazzy Sport Singapore Popup: Day ft. Grooveman Spot [JP]

White Label Records first major event since their official launch will play host to one of Japan’s leading brands in music culture, Jazzy Sport. Originally conceived as a record store in Morioka City, Jazzy Sport has become a Japanese hub for hip underground beats, and for being a world-renowned beat boutique sought out by visitors from around the globe. As a record label, Jazzy Sport features an ever-growing roster of DJs, MCs, producers, and graphic designers.

One of the original music producers that was born out of the brand, Grooveman Spot (JP) will feature at this two-day pop-up event hosted by and located at the freshly launched White Label Records store. The first of many popup events to showcase the growing independent music industry in Asia, including Singapore as a hub for creators and collaborators, White Label aims to lead by example as a model for the merging ecosystem of music & lifestyle cultures in Asia, with Singapore Community Radio shows being produced and streamed from the broadcast studio built in-store, along side their carefully curated bar & music record store.

Supporting DJ sets by Darren Dubwise & Drem, plus a special live set by Intriguant!

A celebration of Fela Anikulapo Kuti the defining creator of the funk, jazz and rhythmic force that is Afrobeat, which emerged in Nigeria in the 1970s. A composer and multi-instrumentalist genius whose influence continues to reverberate throughout Africa and beyond.

A tribute to the life & music of Fela Kuti. Join Felabration Singapore as they pay homage to the King of Afrobeat with Southeast Asia’s leading exponent in Afrobeat music Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra & live West African Drumming with Segude Djembe ensemble.
