Singapore’s own Afrobeat stalwarts Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra welcomes you aboard an enlightening musical voyage to witness the world in a new collective realm.
True to traditional form, Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra pays respect to the forefathers of Afrobeat while adding their distinct Lion City grit to the mix. Influences of Reggae, Afro-Brazilian music, Funk and Disco seep into their works to define a truly 21st century translation of the Afrobeat genre and beyond.
Having recently released their debut EP Singapura Vibrations with collaborations with Ray Lugo (Kokolo Afrobeat) & Victor Rice (Easy Stars Records). Their music is being played in radio stations in countries such as America, Japan, Denmark, Spain, Greece & Australia. Taking their unique South East Asian Afrobeat sound to the rest of the world.
