Tuesday 6TH November – Revision Music X Vinylheavy present Organika: Kribo Records
Organika by Revision Music returns this Deepavali to our favourite record store in Joo Chiat with our very own G-town heroes, Geylang Afro Rock Band. They are a group made up of hustlers who roamed the scandalous streets of Geylang to bring back the G in the funk.
Heavy influences of Afrobeat only instigates a sweaty soul jam to which they coined the term, “Sounds of Lecak”. You might have heard the fuzz’n’buzz of Kribo Records so there’s no reason to not be there.
Not forgetting DJ sets by RTJ, Senja and Vinylheavy to fuel this full-blown funk-drunk party at Choice Cuts Goods + Coffee.
Entry is $10.
