Friday 4TH January – Werk It with Ulysses – From 11.30PM To 4AM
TUFF CLUB was meant to just be a pop up club for a couple of months when it first came on the scene in April 2018, but it has amicably continued its dance focused programming into 2019.
By capping off the previous year in fine style with solid nights such as La Mamies for the Ice Cream Sundays series as well as playing host to curated bookings from Europe with the support of Darker Than Wax – and of course the sold out Peggy Gou show over Christmas, the first weekend of 2019 pushes the focus back to your favourite Singapore disco cruncher, Ulysses.
An all night affair by a seasoned selector with an outlook for the dance floor, lace up your dancing shoes and exercise your right to move!
Cover charge is $20 all night and there will be no entry after 2.30AM without a valid entry stamp.

Saturday 5TH December – All Back To Mine with Daniel Koh @ White Label Records – From 7PM To 12MN
The first weekend of 2019 is packed with quality music to check out on Saturday evening. Kick the night off with a pre-game session at White Label Records as Darren Dubwise and guest, Daniel Koh run you through real electronic music from past to present and what’s new on the horizon in the myriad of sub genres. A night meant to expel the taboo notion of electronic music for the pop charts, expect an education in the deep art of electronic music.

Saturday 5TH December – The Lost Boys with Orio & JustMack – From 10PM To 4AM
Once you are done with the pre-game drinks at White Label just walk over to Kilo Lounge for an infectious night of funky, soulful and hypnotic dancing with Orio (Fat Fish Familia) and JustMack. I have witnessed Orio tear the roof off Kilo Lounge on the regular and he is a true master of the mix. Take this mix recorded from The Lost Boys party from June 2018 for example – and tell me it doesn’t give you the urge to go dancing in a club on a Saturday night?

If a dark club with pulsating rhythms is not your cup of tea, check out Gimme Shelter instead. Music wise, expect anything from New York and Chicago Disco and House, to the funk of rare groove soul – as well as the early hip hop of music to break dance to from the Bronx. Hosted at the cosy and warm living room-esque space of Intermission Bar at The Projector, expect selectors The Gonzo, AK Soul and Disko Kosmik to throw you back a couple of decades with an OG style you cannot deny.
