Friday 5TH April – Miss Chinatown presents Lion City Bass – From 7PM To 12 Midnight

Dedicated to music related to UK sound system culture, Lion City Bass is the latest party by the prolific organizer Mezamashii, who brought you the infamous Kampong Boogie series. Expect some good-skanking fun with DJs playing anything from Dub Reggae to Dancehall, as well as Grime and Hip Hop to Jungle and Drum & Bass. Special guests include the German producer Danny Scrilla of Cosmic Bridge, AL:X (Lisbon), Sam Play (UK), plus BAOW BAOW residents A/K/A Sounds (ATTAGIRL) and Eden. Saturday 6TH April – Thundercat Pre-Party: A Collective Minds & Choice Cuts Collab!– From 7PM To 10PM

Collective Minds and Choice Cuts get together to throw a pre-party before the former’s Thundercat (US) concert on April 10TH. The Joo Chiat Road record store will be giving away a pair of tickets to the concert worth $196 to the champion of an in-store Streetfighter tournament on a game console. Funk music will be sound tracked by Matteblacc DJs throughout.

Saturday 6TH April – Darker Than Wax featuring Marco Weibel & RAH – From 10PM To 4AM

Singapore’s leading underground music label Darker Than Wax take over Kilo Lounge all night with DJs Marco Weibel and RAH. The former has been based in New York City pushing the label’s sound and range of musical style through a weekly mix show on The Lot Radio and a monthly DJ show at Red Bull Studios NYC, plus various residencies and features at clubs like Black Flamingo, Brooklyn. Expect the duo to keep it moving with a selection of House, Disco and electronic music permutations for a stellar Saturday night out.

Saturday 7TH April – Jazzmatazz featuring Trumpet Z & The Boogie – From 7PM Til 11PM

Live music returns to Choice Cuts with Trumpet Z and the Boogie delivering a set of eighties, nineties and noughties Hip Hop with their trademark fusion with jazz elements. Expect original material as well as well-known covers of jams from decades past. DJ sets by Matteblacc in between sets.
