Friday 19TH July – Choice Cuts Unplugged with Dru Chen,Shak’thiya & thecolorfractal – From 7PM To 12AM

Joo Chiat’s hippest record store-café-bar continues their live music programme, this time with indie-funk hero Dru Chen headlining alongside Shak and thecolorfractal. Expect the former to sing songs influenced by Blues, Bossa Nova Hip Hop and folk, while the latter incorporating elements soul, funk and jazz. This one is a great showcase of individualities of the singer-songwriter.

Saturday 20TH July – BlackKajiXtra x Nusasonic – From 7PM To 11PM

Leading experimental music band The Observatory and Ujikaji return with their series of events dedicated a left of center strain of music and sound performances, this time with special guests from Indonesia in Setabuhan and the ground breaking artists Gabber Modus Operandi alongside Thai artist Amazon Sun. Expect this Goethe-Intitut backed event to showcase the best explorations of contemporary sound practices in the South East Asian region.
